MEET JON

Greetings, Friends!

For over a decade, I’ve operated at the intersection of comedy, screenwriting, and visual storytelling. The recent emergence of generative AI has added a powerful fourth circle to that Venn diagram.

Today, I focus on bridging human-led creative vision with emerging technology, leveraging ethical AI workflows to help original film, series, and commercial projects reduce production costs, de-risk development, and secure the coveted greenlight.

Below is a collection of recent projects, each rooted in the fundamentals of classical storytelling, designed to prove concepts, engage audiences, and attract talent and funding. If they also make you chuckle, well that's just grand!

JULY 2026
MODEL CITIZEN

LOGLINE: Twelve commercial models from around the globe compete to win a green card and the right to live in the U.S.

In this adult animated comedy series, an LA-based modeling agency is accused of being prejudiced, so CEO Chad Bruce decides to host a global modeling competition, cramming all twelve models into the same house for a few weeks... What could possibly go wrong?

It's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL meets DRAWN TOGETHER.

JULY 2026
STRANGE LIGHT

LOGLINE: In a sun-bleached Texas town, a grieving woman struggling to keep her small business afloat forms an unexpected connection with a gentle drifter, only to discover his true origin is far beyond anything she ever imagined.

OK, this one's technically not a straight up comedy but I loved the concept and the script, so I signed on to create this very cool visual proof-of-concept to help the producers secure the remaining funds needed to go into production.

JUNE 2026
GYM GOERS

LOGLINE: In a fitness industry drowning in information (much of it useless), we go behind the scenes at a struggling local gym that’s grounded in the old-school fitness philosophy of doing what works, not what sounds good on social media.

In this scripted comedy mockumentary, the format we know and love comes to the place many of us visit several times a week. Grounded in the most relatable of all endeavors (attempting to reach personal goals) this dry-humored show shines a light on humanity at its most vulnerable... the very first time we step into a gym.

JUNE 2026
NO TE OLVIDES

LOGLINE: A fun-loving abuela (Elena) knows her time is running out and feels called to return to her hometown, La Noria, to visit her late husband's grave one last time.

In this musical feature film, the heartwarming story of Elena takes center stage as she returns to her home, introducing her granddaughter (Maria) to their Mexican heritage.

As the adventure unfolds, the only thing bigger than the songs and dance numbers is the personalities.

JANUARY 2026
STORYTIME FOR TODDLERS

As well as de-risking TV shows and feature films, AI production makes it possible for brands to experiment with cost-effective commercials before investing hundreds of thousands of dollars on a live-action shoot.

This adorable 30-sec spot was created to help share the value proposition of the delightful StoryTime for Toddlers app, which helps remove the burden felt by parents when it comes to creating incredible stories for curious little minds.

SPEC WORK

Back when AI people had six fingers and everyone looked just a little too perfect, we put together a few demos to show that the technology could still be used to tell funny stories for brands. As works of comedy go, they still hold up.

NOVEMBER 2025
ZILLOW

DISCLAIMER: Zillow had nothing to do with this demo. But we like the brand and since this project was perhaps the first time we looked at the end result and thought "We might be onto something here..." we figured we'd include it on this page.

Still a touch of the uncanny-valley in one or two shots but this one had a few folks asking us "Wait, that's all AI!?"

Anyone from Zillow, we still believe you should run this. Call us!

DECEMBER 2025
DUCKDUCKGO

DISCLAIMER: DuckDuckGo had nothing to do with this demo. This would turn out to be our final example of a spec spot (because we started getting paid clients).

We're fans of what DuckDuckGo are up to with internet privacy, so we created a world in which personal information travels extremely fast. Unless, as the commercial says, you don't want it to.
