GYM GOERS
Genre: Workplace Comedy / Mockumentary (Live Action)
Comps: The Office meets A&E's Airline
LOGLINE: In a fitness industry drowning in information (much of it useless), we go behind the scenes at a struggling local gym that’s grounded in the old-school fitness philosophy of doing what works, not what sounds good on social media.
GYM GOERS is a deadpan, fly-on-the-wall mockumentary rooted in perhaps the most relatable of all human endeavors: trying to be just a little better today than we were yesterday. Set in a neighborhood gym, defined by humming fluorescent lighting, equipment that could use an update, and the familiar gym-goers we see every day, the series highlights the comical friction simmering under the surface of modern health culture.

DEMO EPISODES
Using generative AI, we went beyond words on a page, creating mini episodes that brought this soon-to-be live action project to life, showcasing the dry humor and relatable moments.
KEEPING THE LIGHTS ON (PILOT)
Gym owner, Gareth Goers, is behind on bills, struggling to make payroll, and really needs every new member he can get.
Join Gareth and potential new member, Gloria, as they tour the gym and meet the other trainers along the way.
MUSCLE JABS
There's a new supplement causing quite the controversy in the wellness community.
Muscle Jabs seem to have remarkable results but at what cost? And aren't these "results" pretty similar to the illegal stuff you're not supposed to use to get big and strong?
THE TRUTH ABOUT GYM FAILS
If you've spent any time on social media in the last decade, you know that gym fails are big business.
But what's going on behind the scenes? Find out as, for the first time, we look at gym fails from the POV of Manny, a Gym Goers personal trainer (and YouTube sensation).
WHO IS SAM?
What better way to meet all the gym members you know and love (or try to avoid) than by watching a group of trainers try to figure out who "Sam" is, ahead of his or her session with master trainer, Junior.
This is a fresh take on the "gym stereotypes" format, utilizing the grounded documentary approach that makes the members being profiled feel so real.

NEXT STEPS
KEEP IMPROVING
Screenplays have a habit of reading as stronger than they are, especially in comedy. Seeing our work as micro episodes has been truly humbling in the best possible way.
GYM GOERS has gone from strength to strength with every episode we've produced and we're not stopping any time soon.
Never before have independent creators been empowered to develop their ideas in this way. It's an exciting time.
FIND OUR AMPLIFIERS
For storytellers to remain focused on story, they need others to champion their content to decision makers. We call these champions our "Amplifiers."
Amplifiers can be influencers (especially in the GYM GOERS world), talent, showrunners, agencies, and more.
The combination of a great story and one or more amplifiers is where the real magic of this iterative approach to development lives.
TRANSITION TO LIVE
Buyers in the entertainment industry are often criticized for seeking IP and other forms of content with an existing fan base.
We don't see it as a bad thing. After all, it is called "showbiz" and looking for proof of concept is a smart business decision.
What starts as a great story and garners enough attention via proofs-of-concept and amplification, stands a good chance of achieving the coveted green light.
